Since when did Kevin Hart blow up? I swear he's becoming the next Chris Rock, but with more mainstream staying power. Alright, so I saw this film with a girlfriend, which is how I recommend it. I know it came out on Valentine's Day, but it's not a tired "date movie.
" This film was hilarious! The cast really gelled together, particularly Hart and Regina Hall, who stole the show. The energy hardly ever lets up. But the best part is, this movie doesn't just peddle in the ridiculous stereotypes that most white execs seem to think a "black" movie needs.
It was just about people, and I want to see more of this. Sure, it's not a revolutionary story, but it's funny, sharp and thoughtful. Will probably see it again in the theatres.
