Dev Patten and James Franco are naturals and this shows through. However, the movie isn't worth the 1.5GB of HD space, let alone the $9.99 that itunes charges to rent it. Ashley Hinshaw's lack of range or depth is cushioned by her small town beauty and youthful body.
The only person worth crediting in About Cherry is the casting director. How one casts this caliber of actors for such a bad film is baffling.
