Review of About Adam (2001) by Brynn H — 12 Feb 2012
A charming singer and a waiter at the bar (Kate Hudson) tries it out with all the boys in the block, and fails to find her prince charming; her book-worm younger sister, her criticism-inclined elder sister, her extraordinarily talkative mother make the prospects of her marriage even dimmer.
But a new guy in town turns out to be inventive enough to please them all. The director tells the same story more then thrice as seen through the eyes of the three different women; and one boy, as a matter of fact, each time enhancing their picture of the lady-pleaser and making us fall in love with Adam all over again.
Great romantic comedy with little action, a few jokes and lots of good psychology.
