Review of About a Boy (2002) by H P — 16 Oct 2012
This is actually my favorite movie of all time, and despite the fact that I am not a Hugh Grant fan in any other film, in "About a Boy" he delivers a perfect performance. I love the deft way dark themes are gracefully handled, and the life lessons one can take away if one chooses.
But mostly, I love the clever gentle humor, and roll scenes and lines from the film over and over in my head, seemingly every day. How could this little film be so incredibly relevant in it's unassuming way? I could gush endlessly, but suffice it to say, this is the most delightful film I have every watched, and rewatched.
