Review of Abel's Field (2012) by Jim E — 10 Jan 2016
130513: I didn't really notice the religious aspects of this film until about midway through. It was subtle but then came on strong; too strong. I liked most aspects of the story but I found the ending a little lacking.
I did not like Abel's true story. It was way too negative and weakened any admiration for this character. Not a fast paced film but a nice paced film. There is very little to raise your adrenaline so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere.
