Review of ABCs of Death 2 (2014) by Allan C — 28 Apr 2017
Wow... What a fucking improvement. I think the first installment brought 4 (at most) vignettes to the table worth their weight. I can comfortably say that A-Z were fun minus "T." It amazed me how well these directors were able to tell good, and sometimes either terrifying or utterly disturbing, stories in so little time.
One vignette is EASILY one of the most unique takes on the zombie genre I have ever seen, period. The first film was a wash; skip it and go right to this one. I see bright things in the future of this franchise and hope they keep the model going.
WARNING, be prepared for some of these stories to get deep under your skin.
