Review of Abattoir (2016) by Scott S — 30 Nov 2016
The cinematography alone is worth taking a look at. The acting and production level were all very high as was the concept. The film changes pace and is a unique take on a horror film; not what you would expect from the director of the Saw franchise.
It is more of a suspenseful thriller than slasher. I didn't know what to expect when I stumbled upon this screening at the LA Film Fest, but I left actually satisfied which is cool because I don't really like horror movies.
