Review of Abandoned Mine (2013) by Cathyjassen — 11 Sep 2013

Abandoned Mine isn't really "horror", but it is horrific. Without beating you over the head with the typical outward formula of most horror films, the writer/director Chamberlain patiently allows the audience enough rope to hang themselves with their own preconceptions of the story as well as sterotypes.

Then the story takes off and becomes fun as well as scary. It turned out to be surprisingly entertaining for our teens and their friends. Its a great Halloween thriller.
