Everyone complains that this film is supposed to be a mystery and that in such terms it is disappointing. I personally didn't view it that way and thought the TV previews gave it all away, so I didn't go in expecting any twists.
And I didn't get any. But I did get a crafty little thriller with stylish editing, a shifty, playful script and a surprisingly effective performance from Katie Holmes. I find the last scene supremely amusing.
