Wow, that was bad. No world building at all. No character building. Things just happen with no explanation. An hour into the film and everyone acts like they've already been on this fantastic journey when they've only really moved a few feet.
It feels like it was written and directed by people who had no handle on the source material, so they changed it into something they could understand.
