A Wrinkle In Time is too fast paced for the audience to understand the true message of the story. The special effects are amazing and if you look past the bland plot then you will see the beauty of the story.
The other problem is that if you haven't read the book then you probably won't understand the film, and if you have read the book then you will see how far it steers from the original story.
