Review of A Wrinkle in Time (2018) by Katie W — 02 Jun 2018

For some reason, I have been unable to review this movie ever since I saw it, but now that I am able to, I am going to take that opportunity. I was extremely excited for this movie ever since the first trailer came out, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment for me.

The performances were quite cheesy, and there were several gigantic plot holes that left me confused and frustrated. The main villain was ridiculous and had no motivation or backstory, and there is a minor storyline involving a bully that was irrelevant and did not contribute to the movie.

I did find myself teary-eyed in a few scenes, and I am not going to deny that there were a few moving and emotional moments, but they couldn't save the film from it's horrible CGI and extremely dull plot.
