Oh dear what happened, I thought Ava Duvenay was going to be the next messiah after her mediocre Selma was decried as one of the greatest film ever made. Turns out, shes a complete hack with little talent to even make a decent film given all the resources she had for this film. A wrinkle in time is non-sensical, boring, has stale characters and is ultimately downright assault on the senses. Its so poorly paced that even a 6 year old could have told a better story in their sleep. This proves that hiring people on their race and gender alone is a sure misfire and thank the heavens she won't be getting a chance to ruin any more franchises down the line.

If you want to see mediocrity on the screen, then Ava's wrinkle in fraud will be a great time for you. She needs to go back to doing her small revisionist history, something I'm sure she will be crawling back to after this disaster.
