Review of A Wrinkle in Time (2018) by Ben D — 04 May 2018

I finally saw this and it was just awful. Other than Chris Pine, the acting was horrid. It was so bad that it was weird because I love Mindy but everybody but Pine really sucked. Even the special effects, which were really cool, ended up sucking because they just felt like a check list.

There was no excitement or suspense; no joy or pain. Loosing a father is plenty of tear inducing material but Meg was so one dimensional; the playground bully so cliche; the wardrobes so dumb. Mythical creatures are etherial or majestic.

These three looked like they spent their lives at a Mac makeup counter. It had Avatar potential but ended up a worse Battlefield Earth. It was a really, really terrible.
