This movie is an honest waste of time, money, and the talents of Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, and Chris Pine. It doesn't give you time to believe what you're seeing on screen, asks you to suspend your disbelief to an insane degree, the child actors give unbearably stiff performances, nothing in the narrative ties together and it's all wrapped in a bow of mediocre special effects.
