I saw this movie on the Saturdat it came out and I was not disappointed! I read the book in the 6th grade and loved it! This is coming from someone who hates reading. I had low expectations for the movie, but the movie did the book justice.
In my personal opinion (as well as my grandmother's) it was better than the book. It is an amazing story of a daughter and her adopted brother on an adventure with the girl's new friend to save her dad.
This is an amazing family movie and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I didn't expect something so well done from Disney.
