Review of A Woman Under the Influence (1974) by J M — 03 Apr 2008
This is one of those movies where things happen and people are in it and you know that theres film unspooling in front of your eyes but then you're like huh where am I and then you realize oh you've just been cassavetes-ed.
meaning you've just been suckered into nine hours of people jibber jabbering. there's this one scene where like, gena rowlands has a fucking meltdown or some shit and it goes on for a good two days in real time and people were amazed and cassavetes is like a genius or something im pretty sure I know it's his fault we have martin scorsese so thats awesome hahahah you cant be at fault for something awesome so hey go cassavetes you gave us someone infinitely better than you.
thanks. anyways this movie is about feelings and shit and then shes like "hey do you have the time" and the lady walks away and she makes a "PBTBBBTBTBBTBTT" noise. fucking genius shit man.
his son directed the notebook. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL I BET HE IS SO EMBARRASSED.
