Review of A Woman Under the Influence (1974) by Nikolas G — 29 Mar 2009
John Cassavettes is probably one of my favorite directors, but this by far was his best effort in my opinion. I was totally sucked into this one. I almost feel like a fly on the wall of someone's life, with no where else to go.
Peter Falk and Gena Rowlands were astounding, and the interaction between them and amoungt all of the people in their lives was very well orchestrated, if difficult to witness at times.
