Review of A Walk Into the Sea: Danny Williams and the Warhol Factory (2007) by Yangqiao L — 10 Oct 2007
Filmmaker could have asked more perspective-provoking questions, could have brought up essential identity issues such as homosexuality earlier to make other materials richer layered, could have made the film more like a film about Danny instead of Warhol.
It looks like Danny's mother knows better about where the film should go than the filmmaker. A filmmaker cannot rely on the interesting quality of the characters in it to make a good film.
