The book is way better for more laughs and I felt let down by the movie. It almost felt like a waste of time except for the scenery. Let's hope there is NOT an influx of unprepared wanna-be thru hikers as a result of movie viewers.
Those backpacks on the set weren't heavy enough. Robert Redford's beard "shadow not convincing and maybe this film is more about friends connecting after a long absence but it ended too soon and left me wanting more!
