A Walk in the Woods completed wastes a terrific cast on a boring movie. Robert Redford and Nick Nolte are fine in their roles. The cast as a whole is fine. The acting isn't the problem. The movie is billed as a comedy, but it really isn't funny.
You rarely even crack a smile. There is one particular character that you meet in the film that is super annoying. I even like that actress, but her character really isn't funny at all. The drama aspect of the film isn't that great either.
The film is pretty boring and lacks in entertainment value. It's such a shame, especially with the wonderful cast involved.
