If you've read and loved the book due to Bryson's beautiful dry wit, offset by Katz's direct and in your face nature that combined made for wonderful humour, along with Bryson's natural and engaging story telling, backed up with his detailed journalistic research of the subject matter.
.. then swerve the film.
