Review of A Walk in the Clouds (1995) by Daniel B — 21 Apr 2011
I love this movie in ways I can't explain. Afterall, its a simple love story that starts with the chance meeting of a returning married GI and a pregnant college student. Victoria has to return home, but is afraid to face her parents preggers and unmarried.
Paul Sutton decides to help her out and they play a charade as husband and wife, to save face against Victoria's controlling father. The sensuality between the couple is phenomenal (especially considering Keanu Reeves' acting ability) and the father is spot on as a overprotective and stubborn father.
In fact, it reminds me of my own father.
