Review of A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014) by Sarim A — 30 Sep 2014
A Walk Among The Tombstones wasn't really a departure from Liam Neeson's usual action shtick but regardless was one of his more memorable performances. What I really enjoyed about this film was its creepy atmosphere throughout which created an urgency in my mind and had me on the edge for most of its run time.
Liam Neeson and his partner on screen Brian Bradley (a relative newcomer/child actor) worked really well together. The film, while light on characters, still delivered a compelling plot and delivered a perfect balance of drama, mystery and action.
One of the major things was the film's duration could have been cut a little bit which did not help its pacing. It is similar to Liam Neeson's other movies, but because he has such a great on screen presence, was still fairly enjoyable.
