A Walk Among The Tombstones is a decent enough film that marketed itself to an audience that isn't interested in seeing it. It is not an 'Action' movie necessarily, while it does contain some action.
It is far more of a throwback to 1970's hard-boiled, slow-burn detective movies, and that is far more refreshing than what those unfamiliar with the source material were expecting, that being 'Taken.
