Liam Neeson is his badass self but the others actors do a good job as well. The two main bad guys really make you hate them. At times the movie makes you feel very uncomfortable because you don't know what's going to happen.
And the foolish antics the African American kids pulls (in the van) keeps you on the edge of your seat. He also provides some comedic aspects to the film, mixed in with sarcasm. This film is interesting from from beginning to end.
