Review of A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014) by John P — 24 May 2015
Gritty old fashioned, 70s style film where Criminal Minds meets The French Connection. Very dark and disturbing, with a small number of light moments that help keep your head above the water as it goes.
Most of the violence is off screen (as it should be), and Liam Neeson walks through the film with effortless ease, refraining from slipping into his 'Taken' character.
