Review of A Village Affair (1995) by Roxanne R — 26 Oct 2011
Good acting, and interesting storyline adapted from a best-selling book about an illicit affair between a well respected mother of four children named Alice and a wealthy socialite named Clodagh. Alice and Martin Jordan purchase a nice estate house next to a small village.
One night they are invited to dinner at Sir and Lady Unwin's estate who are the wealthiest couple in the area. The Unwin's have a daughter named Clodagh who lives a life of leisure and luxury.
Clodagh is their only heir to the estate. She returns to the village and at dinner meets Alice and Martin...after a couple of outings, Clodagh falls in love with Alice, causing a shocking chain reaction.
..I was not crazy about the ending, wished it was different but nevertheless, the story was very good and the actors did a great job! Available on Netflix instant streaming..Definitely recommended!
