Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Brian C — 26 Jan 2009
None of the Bond girls are particularly outstanding, Christopher Walken's villain is contrived and lacks menace, the plot to sink Silicon Valley lacks world scale epicness, and Roger Moore himself looks and acts too old for the part, with obvious cuts to stunt doubles taking his place in action scenes.
Overall, a View to a Kill has everything a Bond film should, but is completely devoid of energy and freshness.
