Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Ian W — 02 Mar 2009
A standard Bond outing. Christopher Walken's Zorin is watchable, but even my 14-year-old son asked why he didn't just shoot Bond instead of putting him unconscious in a car and pushing the car into a shallow lake.
The plot is thin and illogical. Moore is definitely showing his age. Even the music is mediocre. In hindsight, this film seems more firmly mired in its time than others in the series and can't seem to transcend a mid-80s emptiness.
