Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Kallia R — 11 Jan 2013
While not the best of the Bond films, this is certainly better then it's given here.
While considering the pros and cons of this film, you have to be aware that Moore had become very sick of the character by this point. You can tell that he doesn't have the same love of the character as he did at the beginning.
Putting that into consideration, you should be impressed by his acting!
As far as Bond villains go, Christopher Walken's character of Max Zorin is a fun person to watch. Mean while, Grace Jones' character of May Day is one of the few Bond women who can easily kick ass alone.
Lastly, this is movie that is very true to it's time. With the theme done by Duran Duran, and the bright makeup worn by the aforementioned African American actress, Grace Jones, along with tight clothing and oddly cut clothing, the movie just screams 80's.
