Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by David G — 08 Nov 2015
By all respects this should be the worst Bond film of all time, I mean just look at what we have to work with - a geriatric Roger Moore, Christopher Walken attempting to earn a PhD in "hamming it up", a dopey plot, Grace-friggin-Jones!!.
.. Yet what we have is quite simply glorious! Greater than the sum of its parts. Taking all the ingredients and mixing it up with some awesome Duran Duran, brutal 80's-ness and just complete random insanity has crafted a Bond flick that has ceased to be bad, gone far, far beyond and ascended to a new level of cinematic purity.
This is something else. This is special. This is A View to a Kill.
