Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Paul K — 17 Jan 2010
This film had everything going for it: great villian and henchmen, great bond girl (although annoying), great locations, brilliant plot, and decent action scences, the film had one major thing going against it: Roger Moore.
Sadly Moore is 58 and playing James Bond meaning Bond flirting and fighting is like you grandpa trying to hook up with a 20-year old and getting in bar fights. It is really hard to imagine Moore doing any of this.
If this film came out 10 years earlier this would've been one of his best but his age gets the better of him and drags the film down with it. Say hello to Mr. Dalton. MISSION FAILED.
