Review of A View to a Kill (1985) by Andy H — 31 May 2011
"Paint by Numbers Bond" is what I'd call A View to a Kill. It started out pretty hot with skiing and Bond driving half of a car but came to a halt once he met the bad guy and hung out at his house.
The only things that save this from being the dullest of the Bond series are karate chops while horseback riding and Christopher Walken as the most ruthless villain. Usually the bad guy has the henchman do his killing for him or has a scheme for mass murder but never gets to execute it.
