The French just have spark for putting love into cinema that we don't. This is just fantastic. Audrey Tautou is on top form and you connect so stronly with the characters. Simply amazing. There are some particluar genius moments, such as the German woman telling Mathilde her story in the loo.
This film is really about how war affects women. Brilliant. Also, Jodie Foster is amazing. Her accent is perfect. I'm very impressed!
