A much better result than "Mic macs à tire-larigot", this movie envelopes us again in Jeunet's aesthetics in this romantic drama set in 1920's France. The cinematography and costumes are impeccable, and the cast delivers solid performances, including Jodie Foster in an unusual supporting role.
