Review of A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (2011) by Anthony R — 22 Aug 2012
A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is more hit than miss, returning to the roots of the first movie. It takes a little while to get going and get a feel for these characters, even if there was less time between the first sequel ("Guantanamo Bay") and this one than there was between "White Castle" and "Guantanamo Bay.
" It's just a shame the last film in the series was longer than this and it was the worst of the bunch, because we don't see a whole lot of Harold and Kumar's repartee with each other.
I wish they could have taken extra time on some of the jokes, which either go unfinished and fall flat or end up in gross territory because they didn't know how to end them. The film is still rather enjoyable for anyone who appreciated "White Castle.
