A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas was unbelievably funny on standards of being raunchy. Now I have not seen the second Harold and Kumar movie, but they do cover up a few things that happened in the last movie, which I appreciate. And knowing how preposterous the plot is going to be from viewing the 1st movie, I am willing to open up for the sake of its humour.

As different as the two title characters are, John Cho and Kal Penn show off some great chemistry through the whole movie. They definitely look like they were having fun playing Harold and Ku mar. I like Danny Trejo as Haroldâ(TM)s father in-law, but I felt there was no need for the music cue for Trejo, whenever the camera comes back to him. I mean heâ(TM)s friggenâ(TM) Machete, people must know him by now. Neil Patrick Harris makes a 3rd appearance in the series and he was great in almost every scene he was in from the musical cue to the story to how he came back to life.

The scene where the two go into a claymation world after drinking bad egg nog from a party was really hilarious. I never saw that much violence and nudity from 5-minutes of stop-motion since the MAD TV Christmas skits, and that movie tops it. The one thing that kept stealing the show was that wafflebot and after watching this, it makes me want to ask for one of those for Christmas.

My few problems with Harold and Kumar Christmas were that half the 3D effects felt unnecessary, maybe because I watched it in 2D. There were also Harold and Kumarâ(TM)s other friends that hardly made me laugh. Thankfully they were disposed of quite quick, while the stars did their schtick.

Overall, Harold and Kumar Christmas is not meant for the whole family, but you should definitely watch this during the Christmas holiday. This is as fun to watch as any other crude holiday movies like Bad Santa or Rare Exports. So, check it out if you have not yet.
