The storyline was forced. The story about a person who just had a breakup then she/he travels to another country/place and eventually founding love there is just too cliche. There’s no chemistry between Amanda and Sinh.

If the goal is to showcase the tourism of Vietnam, I think they weren’t able to do it well. Sinh is too anoying, he keeps on repeating the full name of Amanda, even asks what’s her wish like what?? And keeps on interrupting her alone time.

They also weren’t able to establish why we should hate John. Why she should Sinh over John. Lastly, the part where they announced that the company was already sold? In front of their clients? Really? It was a waste of time.
