Review of A Touch of Zen (1970) by David F — 06 Nov 2012
Long on exposition but short on kung fu, 'A Touch of Zen' may be a highly respected wuxia film but its religious theme escaped me and I tired of the lengthy story set in the Asian folkloric past.
It didn't help that a lengthy swordfight was repeated after the intermission which I found odd. But it was the artfully choreographed ballet of the many fights that held my interest.
