Review of A Touch of Zen (1970) by Wezul S — 15 Jan 2017
The 3hr epic martial arts masterpiece from director King Hu had a major influence on Ang Lee and his film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" in particular. The film is incredibly beautiful and has some great fight scenes.
There's a major sequence in a bamboo forest and you can see the influence on the finale in Lee's film. Any who likes martial arts films must seek this one out!
