Review of A Touch of Class (1973) by A A — 11 Oct 2007
Very enjoyable, light-hearted, with two VERY likeable leads and some conflicting emotions hidden under the surface. EXTREMELY hilarious dialogue plays like an homage to 1940s romantic comedies with an early 70s twist.
Somewhat marred by an ending that, while necessary, seems almost cruel considering what's come before. Still, Glenda Jackson is a MAJOR babe. If you lost sleep over her like I did - in The Music Lovers, Sunday Bloody Sunday, and Women In Love - watch out for this one.
