Review of A Touch of Class (1973) by Jens T — 25 Jun 2012
A Touch of Class is a romantic comedy about a man and a women. The man is an american business man named Steve Blackburn (George Segal), and the the woman is a british fashion designer, Vicki Allessio (Glenda Jackson) who accidently share the same cab and decides to have be lovers and nothing more, so decides to take a trip to Málaga for a week, and first it's all seems horrible and they seems to hate each other, but soon they really fall in love, and they eventually becomes more than just lovers, though they still meets in secret.
A Touch of Class is a good romantic comedy with a great couple with a great chemistry. And I specially loved Glenda Jackson's witty performance, and a sexy alone mother who looks foolish upon the american male. I liked this film, and I had a good laugh, though I think that George Segal might over doing it. But they are both a great in the fighting scene, and I specially like how this film ends. Thumbs up.
