Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by Colin H — 31 Mar 2009
I enjoyed this film, as much as one can with edgy, gritty films revolving around America's racial strife. Samuel L. Jackson plays as a vengeful father who kills two rednecks who had raped his ten year old daughter and enlists the help of a young lawyer to defend his case.
What evolves is a fast paced and dark movie with some very decent character portrayal throughout. A lot of major stars yes, but I didn't see it as over the top.
