Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by Zachary R — 21 Jan 2011
This is a good movie staring Matthew McConaughey, Samuel L. Jackson and Sandra Bullock, when Carl Lee Hailey's daughter gets raped and almost murdered by two hick men with no regard for human life, Hailey takes it upon himself to kill the men who hurt his daughter.
This lands him in prison possibly facing life or death. He calls on an aquantince that helped out his brother to get him off, a young Lawyer named Jake Brigance. There's just one problem half of the white community wants blood to Hailey's crimes.
This is a good drama one worth checking out.
