Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by Adam S — 31 Jan 2011
Quite compelling in the beginning, this movie left a bad taste in my mouth by the minute. I can only hope that it doesn't hold a mirror up to the american society. But then: In a country that calls capital punishment, why should people not let somebody get away with vigilante justice? Hard to believe that this film is based on a book written by a lawyer.
Good actors, but the story ruins it.
