Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by Andrew Z — 04 Feb 2011
A morally important, seemingly forgotten adaptation of a John Grisham novel, A Time to Kill does an excellent (!) job of bringing the book to the screen (without gutting too much from the book). I heavily recommend this one, and the book only has more in that there are more details in the book and it's more drawn out than the movie.
I really like Matthew McConaughey in this one a lot. I'd be like Jake Brigance if he were a teacher if only I were better looking.
