Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by Matthew B — 04 Sep 2011
JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE! TOTALLY!
I saw this on TNT (Turner Network Television) last night at my bud's house.
It's a Panavision-Movie (2:35.1) and it was being shown at 1:85.1 aspect-ratio.
It looked like a Lucio Fulci movie from the old Vestron-Video days. Cropping: eyes were cut-off, head's were cut-off, characters were talking to other charactrs who weren't on screen.
EXCUSE ME: we are in the age of WIDESCREEN-TV, no Panavision film should be aired on TV without proper letter-boxing.
Great Cast. SANDRA BULLOCK is still one of my favorite actors ALIVE. Sandra Bullock is a Fighter and a Tiger . . . a true-inspiration (nothing knocks her down).
In the novel, The Sandra Bullock character has a bigger and more important role in the plot. . . its sexist.
Even though Keifer and Donald Southerland never share a scene together, they both star in this.
From the director of The Lost Boys AND Flatliners, both starring Keifer Southerland AND Mark Ruffalo.
