Review of A Time to Kill (1996) by David R — 23 Aug 2010
Based on the best seller by John Grisham, A Time To Kill, is the story of a fathers fight for freedom after killing the rapists of his 10 year old daughterâ?¦.the twistâ?¦he is black, and lives in the deep south.
The film in my opinion, is brilliant, the cast is well chosen, it is close to the book. The best scene is.
Matthew McConaugheyâ??s closing argument, it is just amazing.
The downside of the film is the main storyâ?¦child rapeâ?¦basically itâ??s a 15 for a reasonâ?¦If that kind of stuff upsets you, donâ??t watch it, if you can copeâ?¦watch it.
