Review of A Thousand Years of Good Prayers (2007) by Peter L — 29 Sep 2008
Beautifully done intense film about the generation gap between father & his divorced Chinese daughter who lives in the US. Sometimes silence is so powerfully intense showing the difficulty of communication between father & daugther, yet the father is able to communicate perfectly fine w/ strangers who speak a foreign language.
